Tengye team talks with Slovak customers about EAF project

On September 19, 2019, a team of four people from a steel mill in Slovakia met with the Tengye technical team to discuss the technical issues of electric arc furnace modification.

The meeting began on the morning of the 19th. Tengye first welcomed the arrival of the customer. After that, the two sides introduced the participants and positions to each other to deepen their understanding. After Tengye briefly introduced the agenda of the meeting, the meeting officially began.

Tengye first briefly introduced Tengye Company and its main products and equipment, including electric arc furnace (EAF), ladle furnace (LF), vacuum furnace (VD/VOD), submerged arc furnace (SAF) and equipment related to ferrosilicon, silicomanganese, ferromanganese, etc. Customers showed great interest to automation and electrode system, and asked some technical questions from time to time, and the Tengye engineers answered them one by one.

Entering the main agenda of the meeting, the two sides discussed in detail the issues of the electrode system, the charging and stroking car, the low-voltage reactive power compensation device, and the submerged arc furnace accessories. The two sides discussed the details of the charging and stroking car. The customer asked about the details of the size, operation mode and control method. The Tengye engineers explained with drawings, 3D model and real-time monitoring screen. The customer was very satisfied with this.

After the meeting, the Tengye team went to the rough welding factory of Tenye with the customers, and the customers checked the furnace shell, furnace body and other components in the field to confirm that the product quality met their requirements.

Through the meeting and the factory site visit, the two parties reached an agreement on the details of the renovation, and the customer also expressed satisfaction with the processing quality.
