The ladle turret of the world's largest ESP production line has entered the manufacturing stage

Recently, the ladle turret of the 2050mm ESP (Endless Strip Production) general contract project undertaken by Xi’an Tengye Metallurgical Engineering Co., Ltd. and designed by PT (Pratt) has entered the manufacturing stage.

The design capacity of this ESP production line is 3 million tons per year, the strip thickness is 70-100 mm, and the product thickness is 0.8-20 mm. It is currently the largest ESP production line in the world and is expected to be put into operation in 2024.

Ladle turret is one of the key equipment of the continuous casting machine, which is used to support the ladle and rotate it to transport the ladle between the receiving position and the pouring position.
