China's first wide slab hot continuous rolling mill modification project to be launched in Middle East

Xi'an Tengye Metallurgical Engineering Co., Ltd signed a contract for the modification of a 1450mm hot rolling mill production line in March 2018, Middle East.

The existing production line is expected to have the following improvements after modification:

1. Increased production capacity.

2. Improved performance indicators of slab products such as slab type.

3. Full upgrading of L1 and L2 automation control systems.

The scope of this modification project includes the process design of the entire production line, equipment design, manufacturing & engineering supervision, installation guidance, operation training, production management and product upgrades.

As China's first modification project of wide slab hot continuous rolling mill exported to Middle East, it provides both opportunities and challenges to Tengye, the contractor, to further develop the middle east market. To ensure the smooth operation of this EPC project, Tengye will take project management as its core content during the implementation of this project.
