The Upgrade Project of CSP Secondary System of JISCO Hot Rolling Production Line Successfully Accepted

 

 

 

Recently, the the project "Research and Optimization of the Hot Rolling Secondary System for the Carbon Steel Sheet Plant of Jiuquan Steel Group Hongxing Co., Ltd." carried out by Design and Research Institute of USTB Co., Ltd.--- DRI. USTB has successfully passed the contract acceptance organized by Party A.

 

In the implementation of this project, in view of the process and production characteristics of thin slab continuous casting and rolling, the technical team adopted the second-generation gateway switching technology, which can realize the parallel of the new and old systems without modifying any configuration of the original control system. And the new system can be debugged and launched without taking up normal production time.

 

 

The modified JISCO CSP secondary system has greatly improved the system control accuracy and product shape quality, especially in the precise rolling force model, dual-stream cross rolling strategy, high-precision shape control technology and thin-gauge product rolling, etc. A major breakthrough has been made in this regard, achieving the expansion of varieties and specifications and the improvement of product grades.

 

 

 

Based on the National Science Center of Design and Research Institute of USTB Co., Ltd, as a joint partner of Tengye, the two sides have mutually advantageous cooperation in the field of hot rolling, and successfully cooperated in the construction of two hot rolling production lines in the Middle East. Its equipment has great performance in Tengye’s contracted projects.
