The smelting process of Submerged Arc Furnace

 


 

 

It shows two sets of Demark type semi-sealed low fume cover submerged arc furnaces, 22500KV in Hamedan, Iran. There are five tapping holes equally. The furnace bottom is rotating structure to be effective to protect the refractory material against bottom up to reduce the power consumption. The material charging system will be on the roof of furnace. The stoking machine will be feeding supplement and make the material equally against segregation when melting.
